Overview
Large accounts accumulate hundreds of Flows, Connections, and Formats, but day-to-day work usually touches only a handful of them. Starting with Etlworks 9.8.3, every artifact list can be filtered down to the items you touched most recently, so you can get back to yesterday's work without searching or scrolling.
The Recently viewed filter
The list toolbars for Flows, Connections, Formats, Listeners, and Agents include a clock button. Click it to show only the artifacts you opened or saved recently; click it again to return to the full list (the tooltip flips between Show recently viewed … and Show all …). The count next to the page title shows how many of the total items are currently displayed.
How the list is built:
- A successful open or save counts as a touch. Touching an item again moves it to the front.
- Recent lists are kept separately per artifact type, per tenant, and per user — you never see another user's activity.
- Entries are retained for 30 days, and deleted or no-longer-accessible artifacts are pruned automatically.
- Search, tags, sorting, and the card/table view all keep working within the recent subset.
Configure the history size
- Open the user profile menu and select Profile.
- Select Preferences.
- Set Recently viewed history size — the number of recently viewed items retained for each artifact type. Allowed values are 1 to 50; the default is 12.
The setting is personal: it applies to your own recent lists in every supported artifact list, and takes effect immediately.
