How Etlworks licensing works, billing options, customer portal access, and key considerations for SaaS and on-prem deployments.
Licensing Models
Etlworks supports multiple licensing models depending on how the platform is deployed:
SaaS (Cloud)
-
Billed as a monthly or annual subscription
-
Managed by Etlworks (shared or dedicated instance)
-
License is tied to your environment and usage tier
-
Usage limits and capabilities depend on the selected plan (Starter, Business, Enterprise)
On-Premise / Self-Hosted
-
Billed annually
-
License is tied to the hardware or VM and requires daily internet access to validate
-
Includes all features (depending on license scope), with optional HA support
Hybrid Model (Integration Agent)
-
Agent runs in the customer environment
-
License is tied to the cloud-hosted Etlworks instance
-
Additional agent fees may apply depending on the plan
