Overview
The Etlworks Google AdWords connector allows you to extract marketing data from Google Ads using the AdWords Query Language (AWQL). You can then load this data into any destination supported by Etlworks, such as databases, cloud storage, or web APIs.

What Is AWQL?
AWQL (AdWords Query Language) is a SQL-like language used to query Google Ads reporting data. It supports powerful filtering, ordering, and column selection across a wide range of Google Ads report types.
Creating a Connection
To connect to Google Ads:
1. Go to Connections, click +.
2. Search for Google AdWords.
3. Select the Google AdWords connector from the gallery.
Authentication
The connector uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication.

You will be prompted to Sign in with Google during setup.

Etlworks supports the OAuth2 Web Server Flow for secure, delegated access.

Required Parameters

Google AdWords Account ID
Your unique Ads account ID.

OAuth Token
Obtained during OAuth2 authentication. Automatically managed by Etlworks after sign-in.

Developer Token
You need a valid developer token from your Google Ads Manager account.

AWQL Query
The actual SQL-like query to extract data from Google Ads.
