November 2019: Billing changes

Background

Historically, we have factored daily record consumption expectations into our pricing model. The daily record limit for each plan is published on our website. Over time we have observed increasing variability in customer consumption of records which makes it difficult to enforce it daily without significantly impacting the business.

What's changing?

To align with our pay-for-what-you-use pricing model, we are switching all our plans to the monthly record limit and processing additional records over the price plan month limit. You are automatically charged the price of these extra records at the end of each calendar month. As before, the price for extra records is defined by the default price for each plan published on our website.
