This flow extracts data from a file, transforms it, and creates a new file.
Step 1. Create source connection for the file storage. Test it if possible.

- OneDrive for Business
- Inbound email
- Outbound email
Step 2. Create destination connection for the file storage. Test it if possible.
Step 3. Create a format for the source file. For example CSV format.
Step 4. Create a format for the destination file.

If source or destination files are nested learn how to work with nested datasets.
Step 5. Create a new
File to file flow.
Step 6. Add the new transformation and select from connection, format, and file and to connection, format, and file.
Step 7. Click the MAPPING button and configure Source SQL if needed.
Step 8. Test the transformation.
Step 9. Add per-field mapping if needed.
Step 10. If you entered a wildcard filename in the from enable processing of all files which match the wildcard.
Step 11. Save the flow and execute it manually.
Step 12. Schedule the flow to be executed periodically.
