Overview
In Etlworks, you can store the raw, unmodified response from an HTTP request to any supported file or storage destination.
Process
Follow the steps below to save the HTTP response as a file:
Step 1. Create source HTTP Connection
Create an HTTP connection that points to the web service you want to call.
Step 2. Create Destination Connections
Create one of the following connections, depending on where you want to store the file:
- HTTP Connection
- Amazon S3
- Google Cloud Storage
- Microsoft Azure Storage
- Server Storage
- FTP
- FTPS
- SFTP
- Box
- Dropbox
- Google Drive
- OneDrive for Business
- SharePoint
- WebDAV
- HTTP (web service)
- Redis
- Outbound Email
Step 3. Create copy files Flow with:
-
Source: the HTTP connection from Step 1
-
Destination: the connection from Step 2
-
FROM field: specify the filename to assign to the HTTP response
Alternatively, you can specify the filename in the TO field.
See how Etlworks determines filenames when TO is specified for more details.
